The September rains have come late this year.... unfortunately, the Brits and the Americans had to cancel the America's Cup due to the poor weather.
The foundations have been laid, however, for the inaugural America’s Cup. There is a trophy and there is willing. It will be a matter of time before a similar event is organised and the two Societies can compete!
For interest, this year's America's Cup would have featured 3-person canoeing across the Canal Olimpic in Castelldefels, archery and volleyball. A big "thank you" to Barry Davys for organising this in conjunction with the American Society.
