As usual this year, the Britsoc organized its highly popular car rally / treasure hunt. A total of 36, packed into 11 cars, accepted the challenge...
... and what a challenge! As ever, the route was long, something that threw the first-timers. It was the experienced Britsoc ralliers, some of whom have been doing this event for over 15 years, who ended up on top of the pile.
This year the route, set by Jeff and María, took us from La Selva service station on the AP7 to Can Mia restaurant, near Banyoles. The exact route will not be described here, as we understand that some people, who could not attend the event, would like to do the route! After around 5 hours of driving and hunting, all 11 cars reached lunch with a healthy appetite. Lunch was an absolute bargain - speak to anyone present for details!
When the scores were totted up, Team Callaghan narrowly pipped Team Connolly for first prize, much to John's delight!
