Maureen and Clive Callaghan introduced us to the delights of the lesser-known Penedes Wines. We were given tips on how to savour these wines and cava and what to serve them. At the end of the evening, no-one went home empty handed - it must have been odd to see so many people leave the IWC at 11pm on a Monday, wandering into the night to the sound of clunking bottles!
