NEXT WALK 30th JANUARY SATURDAY MONTBLANC-HERMITA SANT JOAN with the British Society of CatalunyaHow to arrive Montblanc, meeting, the walk, and lunch:
From Barcelona autopista direction Tarragona and exit on to the AP-2 direction Lerida-Zaragoza and from this take MONTBLANC exit and at roundabout take exit Montblanc Nord and after crossing bridge either carry on and park at Renfe station or take first street right C. Baluard de Santa Anna and park as it bends further on round the castle walls. Meeting for the walk 0930 in the town plaza for starting the walk 1000 and meeting up with non-walkers 1430 at the town plaza.

The walk will be to the Hermita S. Joan and back taking abt 3 max 4 hours so there will be some margin for late start and/or plodding!! S. Joan is one of the best view points of the walled town of Montblanc and the Conca de Barberá with the Pyrenees in the far distance. Some of us have done this before some few years back now!
